Industries
Dairy and food
High, continuous demand, refrigeration, process steam. BESS to cut peak demand and provide backup. Cogeneration with heat recovery wherever there is process steam, hot water or cooling.

Packing houses and cold storage

Mining

Cement
The mills set the month’s peak, and power factor adds surcharges. With a BESS, the peak comes down and power factor improves.

Hospitals and hotels
A hospital or hotel on the GDMTH tariff (large-demand, medium-voltage, time-of-use, from CFE, Mexico’s state-owned utility) cannot lose power for a minute. The BESS picks up the load through automatic transfer. It is sized for the whole building or only part of it, with a typical autonomy of 2 hours at full discharge.
